We listen, act, and transform
Rachel Prater, PLMHP, earned her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a minor in Child Welfare and Family Dynamics and her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wayne State College in Wayne, Nebraska.
Before entering the mental-health field, Rachel spent six years in a fast-paced public-service role supporting people through moments of crisis and uncertainty. That experience deepened her understanding of trauma, strengthened her ability to stay calm under pressure, and taught her the value of meeting each person with empathy and respect. She has worked with individuals from many different walks of life and strives to make everyone feel safe, understood, and valued.
Rachel completed her internship as an Intensive Family Preservation/Reunification (IFP/IFR) therapist and now provides outpatient therapy for children, adolescents, and families. She is passionate about helping clients navigate challenges, build emotional awareness, and discover lasting paths toward healing and growth.
